Ian Byington sings
Flowers in the Sand

Ever since 1991, I've been singing this song, and I'm gonna keep singing it till I don't need to any more.

It's been sung at peace camps, at rallies, at concerts, in coffeehouses, at vigils.

Here's the words, and here's the song itself, in a version which you can download, add to a CD, and play at any event you like. It's OK to play on the radio, or anywhere you think it'll help.

I know it's gonna take more than a song to bring sense to the current situation in the Middle East, but I'd hate to think that for all the efforts of millions of people around the world, that we might not get there if we didn't have one.

Sing it. Pray it. Think it. Believe it. There's a safe harbor, if we take the time to seek it out.

Peace be with you.
